Security Glazing

Arkoni design, supply and install a wide range of steel, bullet resisting, burglar resisting and enhanced glazing systems, tested to the most stringent of EN European standards.

Bullet resisting glass (often named ballistic glass or bullet-resistant glass) is a strong glass with the appearance of normal glass whilst being particularly resistant to penetratration by bullets.

Burglar resistant glass is a type of safety glass that resists damage from immediate impact either from one single strike or repeated strikes.

Our enhanced glazing systems are created to meet clients specifc needs.

Bullet-Resisting

Bullet resistant doors and partitions are available in FB4 (hand gun) and FB6 (rifle soft core bullet) with curtain walling façade systems available in FB6 (rifle soft core bullet) and FB7 (rifle hard core bullet).

Burglar-Resisting

We supply steel, thermally insulated, burglar resistant window and door sets, incorporating special attack resistant bead systems, lock sets and ancillary fixings as well as fully tested door sets up to WK3, single leaf door sets 1435mm wide x 2240mm high and  fixed light glazing 1400mm wide x 3000mm high.

Enhanced Glazing Systems

We can provide fully bespoke steel, enhanced glazing systems to a client’s own specifications for use in airports, gate houses, banks, mental health and secure areas etc
