A Great Start of it all for Kascarade

Posted 9th May 2016

Five years in the making, ‘The Start of it all’ features 11 tracks penned, recorded and produced by the five piece Indy outfit.

Kascarade was formed in 2010 by vocalist and guitarist Maf Milnes together with his brother Luke on lead guitar, Adam Brankin on bass, Martin Horton on keyboards and synth and drummer Carl Bower.

Maf commented: “It was a fantastic night and a great opportunity to play all of the tracks on the new album in front of fans and friends of the band and performing live within a former church was a fascinating experience.

“We’re proud to be from Bradford and the city has had a big influence on our music over the past six years

“We wouldn’t have been able to get the album off the ground without the support of Brighouse firm Arkoni Metalwork who have provided invaluable sponsorship support in recent years.

“It’s an unusual way of funding a band but we’re not complaining!” added Maf who made a special presentation to Arkoni MD and founder Mark Prentice during the gig.

Mark commented: “It’s very encouraging to see how far the band has come in recent years and I’m sure their new album will help to establish and cement their reputation further.”
